Keeping track of doctor appointments

by Jeni

I am looking for a tool that allows me to keep track of Doctor appointments, when we went, what occurred, prescriptions etc.

Now that my husband and I are getting older, we find ourselves at the doctor more often. They invariably ask questions about our past health, including dates, treatments etc. So, I thought I should have this info with me when we visit docs. I could put a notebook together and keep track that way but thought there should be something out there that will keep this info in an organized manner. It would be for my husband and myself.

Do you know of such a tool?

E-mail is the way to go!
by: Bobby's Mom

Oh my gosh! My life as a mom has gotten so complicated...you know how it goes: making school lunches in the morning, making sure the homework and the books go into the right backpacks, getting the kids off on time; then after-school practice, getting homework done, dinner...oh yeah, check the e-mail. Wow! Almost forgot that doctor appointment! I really, really love getting an e-mail reminding me of an upcoming doctor's appointments! It's much better than the reminder phone call to the house because I can check my e-mail at work..and sometimes I forget to check the answering machine at home! So thanks to some online medical billing program, my kid's doctor sends me an e-mail a couple of days before the appointment, and I don't miss it!

Organizing Medical Records
by: The Organizer

Hi Jeni,

I actually do know of tool to organize medical information. Organize-It has a product that is called a Three-Ring Medical Organizer Binder.

It has several sections to track medical records, family histories, and prescriptions. It even has a section for tracking doctor appointments and for keeping business cards. I think you will find it handy.
