What papers should be kept and for how long?


The Organizer:

The first three months of the year are the best months to get your paperwork organized! Remember, you don't have to get it perfect, you just have to get it going!

So give yourself these few weeks before the end of the year off and then get to work.

To keep my paperwork organized I divided them into several groups:
  • Keep for One Year
  • Keep Indefinitely
  • Keep In Safety Deposit Box (or at least a Fire Proof Safe)
  • No Need To Keep
