Burn Calories chile you organize!

I've had a hard time organizing all my life but recently I've been telling myself that "I'll burn a few extra calories" if I walk these clothes back to my room or take these towels upstairs. Rather than thinking, "I've got to organize!" I think, "I'll burn a few calories and it will make me happy if these things are put away."


So I guess I trick myself a little into doing things that I don't have natural motivation to do. It's just a slight mental twist but it works on my psychology.

Burn calories while doing laundry!

I do this sometimes, too. I used to hate folding clothes. It is a chore; bring the clothes to my bed, sit and fold, organize them by room, then put away.

Now I just fold the clothes in front of the dryer. As much as I can hold in 2 arms and put them away. I walk back and forth until all the clothes are away. I save many of the steps listed above; organizing, and carrying the load to my bedroom. I walk more and its great because the only exercise I get is basically from doing housework and cleaning up after my 2 and a half year old!
